St. Jude
Tri Delta is nationally aligned with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and raises more money than any sorority and fraternity in the world, carrying 25% of the total amount of all philanthropic works from all Greeks combined. When a child goes to St. Jude, everything from their food to their treatment is 100% covered by the hospital, and Tri Delta is proud to be St. Jude's largest donor towards making sure that no child or family ever has to worry about the cost of treatment. After we surpassed our goal of $15 million in 5 years for St. Jude, completing it in only 3.5, our new national pledge was to raise $60 million in 10 years, a goal that we reached in early 2022. While the new goal is still unannounced, we are still dedicated to fundraising for the children of St. Jude. Last year, our chapter was able to raise a little over $30,000 to donate directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Through quarterly events, fundraising campaigns, spreading awareness and even meeting patients and visiting the hospital in Tennessee, our chapter is incredibly proud to raise money and support for all the little girls and boys who get treated at St. Jude.
Boothing
Our sisters take turns working our on campus booth, which has tons of games, raffles, and activities that students can participate in to raise money for St. Jude.
Campuswides
A few times a year, Tri Delta opens its doors to the UCI community and invites friends and faculty to enjoy refreshments, activities and socializing with our sisters.
Events
Our chapter holds 3 large fundraising events every year, all of which are weeklong efforts to raise as much money as we can for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Community
Our sisters are extremely active in the community, including participating in external philanthropies and volunteering at other campus resources, like the Fresh Basic Needs Hub.
Hey everyone! My name is Siobhan, and I am the Director of Philanthropy for the Tri Delta chapter at UCI. We have been dedicating our philanthropic fundraising efforts to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since our partnership in 1999. From the very beginning, I knew that St. Jude was not just an organization we would support, but a beacon of hope for children and families facing unimaginable challenges. Each day, as we witness the incredible work being done at St. Jude, our commitment grows stronger. The unwavering dedication of the doctors, nurses, researchers, and staff at St. Jude is truly awe-inspiring, as they tirelessly strive to find cures and provide exceptional care to children battling life-threatening illnesses. But St. Jude's impact goes beyond medical treatment. They also provide housing and food for families throughout the duration of their child's treatment. I have had the honor of witnessing the profound impact of this support firsthand at the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where I also had the privilege of visiting the 'Tri Delta Place' housing facility. This experience has only deepened my admiration and commitment. As the Director of Philanthropy, organizing events and fundraisers has opened my eyes to the incredible strength and resilience of these children and their families. Their stories have touched my heart, teaching me the true value of lending a helping hand, no matter what personal challenges I may face. It has reminded me that there is no greater gift than playing a part in helping a child become cancer-free and giving them the chance to embrace a future filled with joy and endless possibilities.

Delta House of Pancakes
Once a year in the fall, we transform our chapter house into a diner and sell tickets that invite the entire campus to come eat unlimited home cooked pancakes and bacon, socialize with our sisters, and win prizes!
Sincerely Yours
During the winter, our chapter holds a letter writing campaign, where all of our sisters come together to write handwritten letters to friends and family all over the country and encourage them to gift a donation.
Delta Dodgeball
In our annual dodgeball tournament, different fraternities and clubs on campus compete for first place while we sell tickets and raffle prizes to raise money for St. Jude. In our most recent tournament we raised over $15,000 for St. Jude.
